DNS for maemo.org is currently hosted at Nokia. In January 2010, there was a multi-DAY outage in part caused by DNS issues. Apparently it takes a "long" time to get DNS changes for maemo.org through Nokia.

There are literally hundreds of DNS providers, many of which could do the job for a service which should run 100% of the time. Updates can be done immediately via web interfaces. The cost is very minimal.

In sum, maemo.org should switch to a new DNS host.
