=Infrared Hardware Comparisons for N900=

This wiki is to compile a list of hardware revisions and infra-red distance to help with development of Pierogi.

Currently there is a mystery issue for some users of Pierogi.
Some people are experiencing a less then ideal range issue from there IR module.
Hopefully in compiling data in the table below, it will be possible to establish a solution.

==Instruction for use of Infrared Range Issues Table==

*Username - Please enter a name or username

*Revision - To find your hardware revision number:

Open a [[Terminal]] and type

cat /proc/cpuinfo

Near the bottom of the output is your N900's "Revision"

*Issue - Enter Yes or No in the Issue column, if no current issues you may leave "Range and "Keyset" columns blank.

*Range - Maximum distance from the equipment to your device that the keyset works

*Keyset - Pierogi Keyset that has an issue

*Date - Dates are in international format

example:- 20120131 is 31 January 2012

*Notes - to keep track of multiple devices etc..
